I haven't blogged for ages, so apologies for being very lazy on this front ... but I have been very busy, just not with sewing particularly of late.
Still, I keep my beedy little eyes upon all things textiley and came across something that made me gasp out loud. I'm all for taking inspiration from all sorts of places but come on, when you find something within the handmade crafty world which looks remarkably like your own work ... and other peoples, don't you get a little miffed ? Especially when they seem to sell loads !!!!
I'm not going to let on where/ who though, I shall keep my dignity and not whinge any further.

Oh I'm sorry - how frustrating. Really really annoying.
I feel bad enough when I see product copy descriptions I have written / photos I have taken being used by other online retailers. It happens ALL the time and I hate it.
I think there is some conspiracy out there - "if you want to sell Moulin Roty products, go to Cottontails and copy everything".
It leaves a bitter taste doesn't it.
Did you follow that whole Hidden Elouise thing?

How infuriating for you - it is something that seems to be happening more and more these days it seems.
That is pretty poo for you! it reminds me of something I once heard on a radio programme regarding annonymous poems, or even quite famous poems that have got into peoples psyche and they then beleive they have written it themselves and tak credit for it - well, it's a bit like that....

It's so unfair, I have had the same thing just after uploading my latest designs by two much bigger and quite known sewey girls. I was and still am livid, but hey what can you do. Taste and Medicine are springing to mind!
